Play with time: explore tempo, rhythm, pace, cadence, “formata”/suspension, repetition, incremental variation
Become non-judgmentally aware of “mistakes” (unintended movements, loss of balance, misjudged directions, mis-aligned repetitions) and then explore ways of incorporating mistakes…delight in surprise
Play with your standing body as if it were a long strand of seaweed in warm water with currents that are surprising you from different angles and with varying intensities
Pick up an ordinary object (book, cup, pillow, etc.) and treat it like a toy…what games can you invent? How do you get good at those games, refine your skills, build more strength or stamina or dexterity?
